Support George Washington's Vision

Through George Washington’s world-famous home, final resting place, estate and gardens, and the many educational programs and events we host each year, Mount Vernon tells the story of one man’s life and our nation’s birth. In the process, we demonstrate how the actions of one person can change the world. We invite you to participate in this most American of causes through membership or by making a simple donation. Enjoy special privileges, discounts, and benefits by becoming a member. Or, if you prefer, consider a simple donation... Mount Vernon receives no support from federal or state governments, and it is not a national park or monument. It is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation and all donations are tax-deductible to the limit allowed by law.
